Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival

Yesterday we headed to Mahone Bay despite the rain, to take a look at the Annual Scarecrow Fest and Antique Fair. Here are some of the (somewhat bedraggled) entrants. 

 A nod to "The Simpsons",

and a hint of "Alice in Wonderland", as well as Dorothy and The Scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz".

Mahone Bay's brightly coloured buildings are charming even in the foggy drizzle of a September morning.
