Kinsale

Yesterday found us traveling by bus to Kinsale, a quaint town about an hour south of Cork.  It was milder and much less windy than Cobh and we were lucky to have no rain.  It's an ideal place to wander the winding roads and lanes, with beautiful views of the harbour everywhere.

 The core of the town is full of shops, gourmet restaurants and old fashioned pubs, many painted in bright colours as you can see here:

The locals are all friendly and helpful: not surprising I suppose, as tourism is their livelihood.
