And now.., the beginning of our Victoria Day long weekend.

Time for people to open up cottages for the summer ahead. Time for gardeners to plant. Time for sweeping out the cobwebs. Time to drink lemonade and wine spritzers while waiting for Barbecued bounties. Time for walks on the beach and in verdant parks.

It's not 2 pm, yet today's temperature is already 28 degrees!

I've got my sunscreen on and in the garden; my second place to be after beach-combing along the shore.....
